Aloha ! This is Minshan
I'm a product designer and researcher who graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Originally from Changsha, China, I moved to California at 16 and completed my undergraduate studies at UCSB 🌊. With a background in Communication Studies and Applied Psychology, my unique perspective enables innovative thinking and problem-solving skills in product design.
As a seasoned User Experience Designer, I have extensive experience in Enterprise SaaS and internal-facing products. Currently, I work as a UX Design Intern at Whisker. I focus on crafting well-designed experiences grounded in research to make a positive impact on users. Additionally, I served as a Graduate Student Instructor, teaching SI 311 Gaming & UX Research at the University of Michigan.
Throughout my Master's degree pursuit in Human-Computer Interaction, I immersed myself in both quantitative and qualitative data, constantly seeking those "Ah-ha!" moments. My passion lies in creating pixel-perfect products that simplify users' lives and bring joy to their experiences. By taking a holistic approach to design, I bridge the gap between user needs, technical feasibility, and emerging technologies.
When I'm not designing ...
I travel a lot and eat a lot :)
